Copilot’s ability to generate images has been upgraded — and it’s a big leap. With GPT-4o now powering the experience, visuals are richer, sharper, and more creative than ever before.
The latest improvements include:
- Greater detail and realism in generated visuals
- Improved prompt understanding and interpretation
- Image upload support, allowing you to generate new content based on an image you provide (for example: change the background, apply a new style, or reimagine a selfie)
You can try the enhanced image generation experience today in the Copilot mobile app (iOS and Android), on Copilot.com, in Microsoft Edge’s sidebar, and inside GroupMe. Additional platforms will follow soon.
Quiz Cards: A Smarter Way to Learn with Copilot
Copilot now not only teaches — it quizzes. With the new Quiz Cards feature, you can ask Copilot to test your knowledge on any topic.
For example, try saying: “Test me on basic physics concepts” or “Give me a quiz about Renaissance art.”
Quiz Cards are currently available on Copilot.com and the Copilot mobile app.
Copilot Can Now Be Your Default Assistant on Android
If you’re an Android user, you can now set Copilot as your default digital assistant. That means you can call on it to send messages, set timers, take notes, or ask questions — all by voice.
This lets you replace your existing assistant with a more powerful AI experience that understands and adapts to your needs.
Copilot Vision: Context-Aware Visual Assistance Gets Smarter
Copilot Vision is becoming more interactive for Windows Insider users. It can now analyze what’s on your screen and give smarter, context-aware help — like pointing to where to click or what to do next.
You can also share two app windows at once and have Copilot interpret and assist with both, delivering deeper insights across multiple tools simultaneously.
This upgrade is currently rolling out to Windows Insider users in the U.S., with more regions coming soon.
